TR6 Chronicles - And So To Work

Tony — Mon, 01/11/2010 - 7:42am
That blissful period of paging through catalogs and ordering stuff is over. Time to actually get to work. With the transmission still out of the car now is the time to get ready for the dashboard replacement. It is much easier to wiggle under all those wires without that hump in the floor. And all those wires! After the first looksee I simply crawled out and went to bed.

TR6
Jean — Mon, 01/11/2010 - 8:17amAfter all that work, you are actually thinking of selling that car? TIme will tell, but I bet it will be so beautiful you won't be able to part with it. Still, what a great project for these dreary winter days. Great photos. Why is there grass on the floor or the car?
The TR6 turf
Tony — Mon, 01/11/2010 - 4:17pmThere sure was enough dirt collected under the carpets of the TR to start a garden, but the "grass" in the photo is just a section of '70's shag thrown down to make my chore a bit cozier. Thinking of selling it? Well, I am determined that whoever drives off with it will need to have left a very big pile of money behind.
