Adeline Emma Thompson was born this week to John and Katie Thompson. John is the great grandson of my grandfather, John Mindling. I believe she is Ward and Barbie Thompson's first grandchild.

Addie's got her great grandma Helen's sassy look - just bustin' to give you a piece of her mind. Which in turn reminds me of my dad telling me how when they were kids, and receiving one of their father's very long lectures about some misdeed they had perpetrated, my dad would stay quiet and let the thing just wind down. But just as the lecture was about over Helen would pipe up with some retort, and off he'd go again.
