Driving up Highway 4 toward Ebbetts pass from Markleeville, I made a quick "U" to go back and photograph this perfect cow camp. We encountered the grizzly-colored animals, and the pleasant sound of the cow bells, in meadows near our camp and down through Noble Canyon.
