Notes

Henry Mindling[1] (christened Heinrich Mendling in the Lutheran church in Schwaigern, Germany[2]) emigrated from Germany with his parents Gottfried and Christina to the farm near Watertown, Ohio. He married first Mary A., who died April 21, 1891, and second Louise Maloney. Henry Mindling remained in Washington County until hius death on April 15, 1920. He rests beside his first wife in St. John Lutheran Cemetery nea Watertown, Washington County, Ohio.
