BIO:Mary[1] (christened Mari Mendling in the Lutheran church in Schwaigern, Germany[2]) was born in Germany and came to America with her parents, Gottfried and Christina, in 1847 when she was three years old. She married Fred Tresch, and lived about four miles southeast of St. John Lutheran Church in Watertown Toenship, Washington County, Ohio.
